| The New 7 Wonders of Nature have been selected Posted: 11 Nov 2011 07:05 PM PST After five years of build-up, Ha Long Bay, the Amazon and Table Mountain are among the latest 7 Wonders of Nature The preliminary results of a poll to find the next 7 Wonders of Nature have come in. Based at the Heidi-Weber-Museum in Zurich, Switzerland, the New 7 Wonders Foundation was initiated by Swiss-born Canadian filmmaker and author, Bernard Weber. The New7Wonders of Nature campaign was launched in 2007 to raise awareness of the world's most beautiful natural sites. Now, after millions of votes from people selecting their favorite natural features, using criteria such as the unique beauty of the site, ecological significance and historical legacy, the seven have been named.
