While Shanghai is still loosening the soil for its very own Disneyland, its design details are already on the lips of every Mickey Mouse fan.

A model of the entire Shanghai Disney Resort (上海迪士尼度假区) was displayed at D23 Expo, a fan fair held by Disney last weekend in California, revealing a large number of planning details of the world's smallest Disneyland.

For one of the fastest-growing cities in the world, Shanghai is a surprisingly depressing place in which to live -- that's the takeaway from new research on the satisfaction levels of China's city dwellers.

According to the report on the happiness of Chinese residents, published earlier this month, Shanghai is third to last out of 100 Chinese cities when it comes to the happiness of its people.
