| Bangkok is the world's 10th busiest airport Posted: 09 Aug 2011 11:29 PM PDT  Global aviation organization Airports Council International (ACI) has released its World Airport Traffic Report for 2010, with Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport moving into the no. 10 spot on the list of top airports by international passengers. According to the report, 31.41 million international passengers travelled through Bangkok's main airport last year, up nine percent from 2009. Here's the full list:      |

It's not the Great Singapore Sale, or National Day and its multiple peripheral celebrations, but for parents with a child turning seven, it's time to join the mad rush to secure a primary school place. Having been through this twice myself, I can personally say that the whole experience can get slightly crazy. The process starts in July and drags for about two months. Parents are first told where on the priority list of their desired school their child falls and then given a few days to apply for a place.    |
