Fewer teeth will nash during the looped recording of "it's a small world" when Disney starts serving alcohol at the Magic Kingdom Park in Orlando, Florida. Beer and wine will be served at the new Be Our Guest restaurant this November. Among the Disney establishments, alcohol is so far only served at Disneyland Paris and at the private club Club 33, at Disneyland Park in California, as well as Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios. The French-themed Be Our Guest restaurant, inspired by Disney's 1991 film "Beauty and the Beast," will serve alcohol to complete the guests' French experience. read more     |

If you answered that their images can all be found in one form or another in Akihabara's geekier stores you're probably not wrong, but we're actually referring to the fact that all four are currently featured in a public art exhibition in downtown Tokyo's Marunouchi district.
That's where you'll find 20 benches accompanied by life-size statues of famous figures along the kilometer-long Naka Dori shopping street between Yurakucho and Otemachi. The survey, titled "2012 Country RepTrak," asked 36,000 consumers in the world's G8 -- Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Russia, the United Kingdom and the United States -- to rate the reputation of 50 countries worldwide. Canada still rules but Europe dominates the top 10With a global reputation score of 77.77, Canada remained the most respected country. It's the country that people find the most attractive to visit, to live in, to work in and to study in, according to the survey. | The Creators Project returns to Seoul with more bleeding-edge art and music Posted: 20 Sep 2012 03:05 PM PDT by CNNGo staff Anyone who has heard of The Creators Project will have a vague idea that it has something to do with art and music and cool stuff in general; but not a lot of people seem to know exactly what it entails. The official website calls the three-year-old project "a global celebration of art and technology," that has supported 150 artists around the world. A collaboration between Vice Magazine and Intel, the project features a series of traveling events showcasing "large-scale audiovisual installations" and musical performances. So, yeah, like we said, art and music and cool stuff in general. The first showcase for 2012 was held in San Francisco. Seoul is one of the other four host cities, namely Beijing, Paris, São Paulo and New York City. This year's Creators Project Seoul takes place September 21-23 at the new Dongdaemun Design Plaza designed by Anglo-Iraqi architect Dame Zaha Hadid. While the actual stadium is still under construction, the project is taking over the event space and the public park. read more    |
